About the artwork
This vintage circus poster is a restored reproduction of an original Sells Brothers advertising print from the 1880s. It promotes The Mighty Cradoc, a performer known for juggling and throwing large Roman-style axes during his circus act. Three performers dressed in Roman-inspired costumes are shown handling the oversized axes inside the arena, while bold lettering announces the spectacle around them. The detailed clothing, dramatic poses and unusual subject make this historical circus image especially memorable. This restored reproduction works well in living rooms, creative spaces or interiors featuring vintage entertainment art. Available as a poster or canvas print.
