About the artwork
This vintage advertising print captures the bold style and craftsmanship of late nineteenth-century American poster design. Created by Strobridge & Co. Lith. in 1897, it was produced as an advertisement for the Anchor Buggy Company. A magnificent peacock with its fully spread feathers dominates the composition, while richly coloured typography and elegant carriage illustrations complete the design. The detailed lithography and vibrant colours make this artwork a striking choice for living rooms, offices, libraries or interiors inspired by vintage advertising. Available as a poster or canvas print.
